My Complete Gear List

Since I just attempted a thru hike a couple of years ago, I have most of my gear set for this next year. I didn't come off the trail because of poor gear choices, I was very happy with what I brought along. Here is the list of items that will be going with me:

A Few Ramblings... and a Confession

As I think about the trail each day, thoughts and ideas pop into my head. Here are a few of these thoughts.

 

The Big Three

An important element of a long distance hiking blog would naturally be a list of gear that a person intends on using. That would be this entry for the "big three" items; tent, backpack and cooking system. I will also include a list later of gear that I would highly recommend, when I hit Washington, that will be with me on completion of the trail.

Happy to be Planning for the Trail Again!

What do you know? I get to jump on this roller coaster of a trail once again! It sure is great to be back, planning for a through hike, and starting up the preparations one more time.
